Rick Cuthbert completed his Reiki training in 2000 and began his training in Bowen Therapy.  Since then he has undertaken training in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Touch For Health Level 1, Emmett Technique, Emmtech and Theta Healing.

Rick’s passion in Tom Bowen’s therapy was so great that Rick’s decision to teach Bowen was realized during the early part of his training.  Rick was a qualified and practicing therapist for a short time before he applied for, and received, approval to begin his instructor training. Rick became an instructor with Bowtech in 2003, running his first class in February,2004. Rick is no longer associated with Bowtech, but now teaches Tom Bowen Therapy 101 (TBT101) with Ross Emmett's and Romney Smeaton's understanding. Rick has enjoyed training many fine therapist in Bowen Therapy since that time.

November 2003, Rick was introduced to another amazing therapy, Emmett Technique.  Rick soon realized the benefits of combining Bowen and Emmett and as a result he and Kerry’s practice doubled in size.  The results achieved are evidenced in the size of their client base. Thus began a close relationship with Ross Emmett (the man behind the technique) and intense training by Ross to become an instructor of Emmett Technique and Emmtech.

Rick continues to teach Emmett Technique for practitioners in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and regional areas, Emmett short courses for personal trainers, coaches, aged care workers and horse handlers in Sydney and regional areas and Tom Bowen Therapy 101 training for practitioners and non-practitioners in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
